Do I need prior hairdressing experience to take this course?
No! While hairdressing experience is helpful, it's not required. Many of my most successful students started with zero experience. The course is designed to teach you everything from the absolute basics to cutting and blending, business strategies and beyond!
How long does it take to complete the course?
The course is self-paced, so you can move through it as quickly or slowly as you need. Most students complete the initial training in 2-4 weeks, depending on practice time.
What supplies or equipment do I need?
If you choose the course + kit option, you'll receive all the essential tools to get started. All you will need is a mannequin head or person to practice on. If you select the course-only option, I provide a detailed supplies list with recommended suppliers.
What's included in the kit you supply?
If you choose the course + kit option, you'll receive all the essential tools to get started. Such as but not limited to: Practice hair, nano beads, micro beads, tapes, remover, tape piers, nano/micro pliers, nano/micro loop tool, professional cutting scissors, combs, clips ect. All you will need is a mannequin head or person to practice on. If you select the course-only option, I provide a detailed supplies list with recommended suppliers.
Can I work from home/mobile or do I need a salon?
You can absolutely start from home or as a mobile technician! Many of my students begin this way before expanding to salon space if they want to!
Do I need insurance?
Yes but not right away. Once you're practising you need to make it clear to your models that you're not passed off yet. Then once you are passed off you'll need professional insurance to work with paying clients. I cover all the details on how to obtain this in the business setup module and it costs less than £45 per year!
How quickly can I start taking clients?
Most students begin taking their first models or practice clients within a couple of weeks, and paying clients within 4-6 weeks. Many are fully booked within 3-6 months!
How long will it take me to earn back my investment?
With the proper pricing, most students make back their course investment with just 2-3 clients.

Do you offer in-person training?
Yes! You can add this on at checkout or at a later date. All the theory is covered in this course and the in-person is a great add-on to boost your skills and confidence even more, but it's so detailed you'll likely not need to attend in person. If you would prefer a 1-1 with me where we could even work on real models, just DM me with the words '1-1' and I can give you the options.
Do you cover marketing and business setup?
Absolutely! The course includes comprehensive modules on pricing, marketing, client retention, social media, accounting, business systems and lots more.
